The error 50041 happens when it is not possible to connect to our online license server.
There are several causes for this.
- Most of the time is due to the internet connection, please verify that your computer is connected to internet.
- Our license server is busy: If this is the case, it is temporary, so please try again if it fails on the first attempt, without closing the license wizard.
- Security settings on your machine: Sometimes, Firewalls or Anti-virus application block the activation. Turn off the firewalls and/or disable the antivirus. Sometimes, it is not enough only disabling it if it was blocked already, check if you can access https://licensing.toonboom.com:443 and if you can access it, it is more likely the application or service connecting to the online server is blocked by your anti-virus application.
-Proxy server: If you have a proxy server, please turn it off temporary or bypass it for the activation.
